Close Out a Non-Conformance Register Item

Here's how to close-out a Non-Conformance Register item.

This short video walks you through how to close out an NCR:

  1. Begin by clicking on the Pending tab to access the functionality.

Identify the registrar item you wish to close out.

  1. For this example, I will close out demo build and specifically number three.

Click on the View button to verify that everything has been closed.

  1. If you notice that there are any open corrective actions, you will need to close them before proceeding.

  1. Click on the Corrective Actions tab to address the corrective action.

Close out the action and then tick the checkbox to indicate completion.

  1. Once the corrective action is successfully closed, return to the Overview tab.

You will see that the status is now closed.

  1. Next, navigate back to your register and click on the Pending tab again.

Now you can proceed to close out the registrar item.

  1. Sign off on the action, and if necessary, attach any relevant files.

Additionally, ensure that you tick the box indicating that you've uploaded the necessary documentation.

  1. Finally, click on submit.

Your action will be closed successfully, and the registrar item will be removed from the Pending tab and added to the flow character.

By following these steps, you can effectively close out a non-conformance registrar item and ensure that all necessary actions are completed.
