Watch this video to see how to add a new document to your register (the text version of this is further down):

If you prefer the text version, here are the steps:

  1. Begin by clicking on the Document Register in the navigation bar, located halfway down the page. This will take you to the master document register.

  1. To expand each section of the document register, click on either the plus icon or the name of the section itself:

  1. To add a new document, click on the Add New Document button.

  1. The first step in adding a new document is to fill out the general information form.

Follow the form downwards to complete all required fields.

  1. If applicable, select the Online Document option and add the URL for the document. Alternatively, you may leave it as a file upload, for instance, a Word document.

  1. Next, select the Document Owner and the Authorization for the document. The default document status is set to Approved, but you may also choose options such as In ReviewIn Development, or Archive if the document has been superseded.

This document will be classified as an Approved Document.

  1. Set the approval date to one year from today, specifically the 19th of May 2026.

Since this is a standard company policy document, ensure it is visible across all projects by clicking on Save and Continue.

  1. In Step Two, you'll be prompted to upload one or more files.

Click on the Upload Box to select your file, such as Policy - 002 Environmental Sustainability.

This process only takes a few seconds; after uploading, click on Save and Continue.

  1. Step Three involves assigning users to the document.

You may leave this open to all users since it is a company-wide policy document, or you can select or deselect users as needed.

  1. Finally, click on Document Register Assign to complete the process.

  1. Your document register will display a message indicating that the Document Register Saved Successfully.

By clicking on Policies, you will see the newly added policy documents in the register.

That's it, you have successfully added a new document to the document register.
