For all project and other important aspects of the system, i.e., registers, actions, names, etc., we recommend you implement/adopt an easy-to-use, logical, and consistent naming convention throughout your organization (especially when using CASSA) from the outset.

There is no real right or wrong answer here, rather what works for you and your business.

However, if you don’t yet have a naming convention, we’d recommend:

  • Always use concise, accurate, and descriptive names. Verbiage is not your friend when viewing on a smaller device like a mobile phone.
  • Use Title Case for proper nouns
  • Use lower case for not quite so essential words like prepositions or words containing fewer than 4 characters.

For example, ‘Build Russ’ Olympic Sized Swimming Pool’, or ‘Dismantle Bridge Crane and Relocate to Site 7’, etc.

Whatever you choose, keep it simple and consistent and use it from the start (so you don't have to go back and repeat work).
